Ski Dubai is an indoor snow resort on the ground floor of Mall of the Emirates, kept below freezing all year round. You can ski or snowboard on the slope, take a lesson if you have never been on skis, ride the chairlift, zip over the snow on the Snow Bullet or meet the resort's King and Gentoo penguins.

About Ski Dubai

Ski Dubai opened in 2005 inside Mall of the Emirates and celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2025. It offers real snow, sub-zero air and proper ski lifts, all a short walk from the mall's shops and restaurants.

Experienced skiers and snowboarders come for time on the slope. First-timers book a lesson, and families tend to head for the Snow Park rides and the penguins.

Why Visit Ski Dubai?

Indoor Ski Slopes

The slope is for skiers and snowboarders who already know the basics. Chairlift and draglift rides are unlimited during your session, and some evenings are set aside for students and freestyle riders.

Snow Park Play Area

You don't need any skiing skills for the Snow Park. Kids and adults can try rides like the Mountain Thriller, the chairlift and zorb balls, or just play in the snow.

Penguin Encounters

The penguin colony started in January 2012 with 10 Gentoo and 10 King penguins and has grown to more than 40. Encounters let you meet both species up close, and children can join from age 2.

Zip Lining Experience

The Snow Bullet is a zipline that runs above the Snow Park. It's a short, fast ride with a bird's-eye view of the snow below.
